I was browsing the old policies section of the forums and realized that a lot of the policies there were either outdated or incorrectly organized so they have been completely reworked. Please take the time to read the reworked policies section carefully. I realize this requires a lot of reading and reading can be tough sometimes but it is important that you know what we like and what we don't so you are able to choose your path correctly. The Raiding Policies section found here will explain how we function as a raiding guild as far as Scheduling, Signing Up, Inviting, and other things. The Loot Policies section found here will explain how we distributing loot and our reasons for doing it that way. The Alt Policies section can be found here and it gives you all the details about alts that you will need. Last and most important is the Personal Conduct Policy that can be found here. It gives you a clear idea of what we expect from you whether you are raiding or not. Using ignorance as your excuse for not knowing the things in these policies simply shows your lack of interest in the guild as a whole. So please read up!

In what can only be described as a great job by everyone Putricide barely had enough time to finish saying "Where'd those come from?" before we were sampling his vials and generally making his lab a place Red Branch can call ours. So until next time Putricide enjoy whatever time we give you to keep living because it's always a pleasure hearing you squeak out "Bad news, everyone! I don't think I'm going to make it."

For quite awhile we were using only wow-meter online for all our raid statistic logging but over time we've started using world of logs alot more as it is far more in-depth and gives us alot more of the information that we need in order to determine the areas we need to improve on. So if your interested in looking at logs and checking to see if your ranked in the top 200 for your sub-par dps or healing based on your class then go ahead and click on the World of Logs link. If your unable to see the logs then go ahead and apply for a guild membership there and ask an officer to approve your application. Once an officer approves you'll be able to view all our recent logs at your leisure instead of forcing us all to be impressed with your trash dps recount meters linked in guild chat. :) Also in an effort to improve understanding of what happens when, I have posted our current schedule in the wow general chat. In addition to the scheduled raid times each week it also has a brief description of each raid and what is expected from those in attendance. It can be viewed here.

Wanted to take the time to write down one of the unwritten rules of our 25 man raids and the 25 man raid policy has been updated to show exactly what the rule is and how it applies. Please don't allow ignorance to be an excuse in our next raid by not reading the policy here. You can review all the policies in the policy section here if you'd like to brush up as well.

In an effort to clarify exactly how the process for picking the 25 man raids is done the 25 man raid policy has been updated to show more accurately what we do in order to pick the people who go. Please see the policy here. You could always go ahead and review all the policies in the policy section here if you'd like to brush up as well. Also just a reminder the Weekly Raid quest will be scheduled on Saturday from now on and it will show on the calendar as a Guild Gathering. So be sure to sign up for that if you'd like to get your weekly done in a non-pugtastic way.

As it was written, Icecrown has arrived and with it extended downtime. If your bored with reading the patch notes and boss strategies be sure to check out this preview video here. Definitely worth a watch even though it isn't put out by Blizzard it's excellent quality. Be sure to check out the patch overview that can be found here as well if you haven't already. Raiding tonight will be dependant upon when the servers come back up. Wednesday and Friday's raids will be two separate ICC10 man raids. Thursday will be scheduled as the Weekly Raid quest.

Word on the street is Icecrown 3.3 patch will be deployed next Tuesday December 8th. Even if that date proves to be incorrect then December 15th would probably be the lastest that it would be deployed. Before it lands I wanted to try and get everyone up to speed that may not be aware of alot of the changes so I made a series of articles that are referenced in the Icecrown 3.3 Patch made easy overview that can be found here. So read up!

It has become necessary to create a personal conduct policy to apply to those who are members of the guild as well as those who might be thinking of joining. This was done in order to create a standard policy instead of a more general "be nice" policy. The entire contents of this policy can be found here and is mandatory reading. Enjoy!

Was noticing the other day how cluttered the policies section had gotten. Some of the stuff there was also out of date so I combined many of the individual posts into larger single posts to make it easier to find what you need. Basically now there is a 10man Raid Guidelines section and a 25man Raid Guidelines section. If you haven't read those guidelines before, now would be a good time. If your just interested in knowing the most recent changes you'd do well to know that 2200+ wow-heroes score is now the minimum for 10toc raids and 2300+ wow-heroes score is now the minimum for 25toc raids. If you have questions most of them will be answered in the guidelines but if not feel free to contact me in game.
